The Easy Life Force
By Yanna

You swam and damned the seamen
Never to be born brethren
The life force: no code like morse
It’s divine, uncrackable
Time incomprehensible
Fine wine incomparable
It grounds you and it lands you
Where you did not know you’d be
It raises you and flies you
To a spiritual degree
Until we all say “Really?”
Is this me? Did I arrive?
Am I free? Indeed you cried
Some died, some carried, some fell
All lived, all ate: some quite well
The life force: the safety shell
For ants that work as team cells;
For sharks that swim ocean gales
Life force matters: strange like hail
