Regrets
By Yanna
Regrets are all but new; I have them too
You will regret all that you did not do
You will lament on when you had no clue
You will wish for flavours not known to you
You can’t ask for favours, you desp’rate fool
Not from your peers that did well in life’s school
The chances you blew; what you never knew
Kind people’s tears: you made cries in tissue
You remember them now but won’t show how
Your character blocks your blessings, now bow
Pray they don’t see how messed up you are now
Letters unwritten, poems unspoken
Songs are all you have so cry and listen
The memories of those that still glisten
Their lights were so bright they killed your mission
You made it to nowhere’s graduation
I salute you whilst I beg your pardon
Thanks
